As we approach another back-to-school season, De’Lindsey Mack Youth Empowerment Program (DMYEP) is launching a Back-to-School Fundraiser to ensure children in the Houston, Texas community start the school year prepared and confident. Our mission is simple: to equip young minds with the essentials they need to succeed and we can’t do it without your help.
You’ve heard the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and that truth still holds power today. When a community comes together to invest in its youth, the result is far more than notebooks and pencils, it’s a brighter future, stronger self-worth, and the foundation for lifelong success.
Why We’re Raising Funds
This year, DMYEP is aiming to sponsor 100 back-to-school swag bags filled with school supplies and everyday essentials that many students go without. Each swag bag is valued at $10, and every bag represents more than just supplies, it represents hope, dignity, and readiness.
We are currently 66 swag bags away from our goal and this is where you come in.
How You Can Help
We’re calling on our village (community members, organizations, friends, and supporters) to partner with us by sponsoring a child. Your $10 donation will go directly toward a swag bag that equips a student with tools to thrive both in and outside the classroom.
Whether you sponsor one student or ten, your contribution creates a ripple effect in a child’s life, boosting their confidence and reducing the barriers to learning and achievement.
Let’s Do This Together
Community engagement plays a vital role in improving the well-being of our children. When we pour into them today, we are building the leaders, thinkers, and trailblazers of tomorrow.
Help us close the gap. Sponsor a swag bag today. Share this initiative. Be part of the village that raises empowered, educated, and equipped youth.
Together, we can reach our goal and beyond.
